In April 2020, Timini teamed up with fellow stars such as Jemima Osunde, Nick Mutuma, and Lerato Walaza, joining a wider cast of talents from Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, and the Ivory Coast in a united fight against COVID-19. Together, they brought to life a special 60-episode MTV Shuga miniseries created to spread vital information and encourage safer behavior during the pandemic. The project became a powerful tool in raising awareness and supporting global efforts to slow the spread of the virus.
