Prior to that, She has often covered breaking news and the Oscars, Golden Globes, Grammys, and Emmy Awards. Previously, she was the Editor in chief of her elementary school newspaper, Rio San Gabriel in Downey. She hosted Downey High School’s assemblies and pep rallies and won the speech portion of the Miss Downey pageant. She was hired as a web producer at KNBC after graduation. Marques began anchoring and reporting in 2003, in Eureka, California.
On the sports sidelines, as she joined the La Galaxy, Suzanne was one of the first soccer superstars to interview David Beckham. Also, she celebrated many of the division titles in the locker room. During her leisure time, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband Robert, and son Austin. When she is not anchoring, she is usually reading or writing.
