Stanley Ebuka Nzediegwu is a Nigerian actor known for his role in the 2020 remake of Amaka Igwe’s Rattlesnake. He is also known by his professional name Stan Nze. Stan won the 2022 AMVCA Award under the ‘Best Actor in Drama’ category for his role played in Rattlesnake.

Stan Nze Career
Stan started his acting career in 2009 with a minor role in a television series, Private Sector which was followed by guest appearances in some other TV series. Stan got his first major role in 2013 – A bipolar serial killer in the movie, Murder At Prime Suites (MAPS). However, Nze is best known for his portrayal of one of Nollywood’s most iconic characters, Ahanna in the 2020 Remake of Amaka Igwe’s classic, Rattlesnake.
In 2016 Stan got his first major nominations as a leading actor in a movie for his role as David Nyama in the Judith Audu-produced movie, Just Not Married – which screened at the Toronto International Film Festival that same year. In addition to starring in movies and TV series, Stan has also worked as a producer on some projects such as; the award-winning Bad Drop, Colourless, Anita, Mute, Within the Shadow, Split, and most recently, Everybody Wants Alvin.
Nze is quite passionate about impacting knowledge and nation-building. He is the convener of ‘The Kids Can Act Project’ – a project he kick-started in 2014 to help harness the next generation of Nollywood stars. The project harbors kids between the ages of eight and thirteen. They get trained and then get opportunities to Star in Nollywood movies. Nze has been nominated a number of times for award some of which includes the Best Lead Actor at the 2016 Zulu African Film Academy Awards (ZAFAA), Best Supporting Actor at the 2019 Best of Nollywood Awards, Best Actor in a Lead role (Igbo) at 2020 Best of Nollywood Awards and Best Kiss in a Movie at 2021 Best of Nollywood Awards.
