On June 30, 2019, Mercy went into the Big Brother Naija house. She was named the winner in October 2019, making her the first woman to win the grand prize. She auditioned for Big Brother Naija four times before being selected as a contestant. The highlight queen defeated other contestants to win the fourth season of the popular reality television show Big Brother Naija. As the winner of the competition, Eke received a 60 million Naira grand prize. She is still one of the most talked-about contestants on the Big Brother Naija Reality Show.
After winning the fourth season of Big Brother Nigeria, she became a brand ambassador for several companies, including Ciroc and Mr. Taxi. Additionally, Mercy struck a deal with Mapia Tea, a manufacturer of waist trainers and protein shakes. She also struck a deal with the electronics manufacturer, Royal Electronics.
On November 29, 2019, Eke signed a partnership agreement with the Vodka brand Ciroc. She also stated that she would serve as an ambassador for the Nigerian furniture store Just Furniture.
