Tobin serves as the general assignment reporter and anchor for NBC4. She reports weekdays on the NBC4 News at 11 a.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. and anchors weekends on the NBC4 News at 5, 6, and 11 p.m. Tobin is a multi-faceted journalist who covers everything from breaking news to feature pieces to community stories and red carpet events.
She was living covering the devastation caused by the Woolsey and Holy wildfires that ravaged Southern California, destroying thousands of acres and forcing thousands of people to flee their homes. Tobin was also in Thousand Oaks, California, covering the tragic shooting at the Borderline Bar and Grill and its devastation.
Tobin previously worked as an anchor and reporter for KNXV in Phoenix, where she covered a series of freeway shootings in the area. She was also on the ground live when protests erupted during President Trump’s visit following the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017. Tobin also worked as a morning anchor for NBC affiliate KOB-TV in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
