Earlier, she served as a sports anchor at Fox Sports Wisconsin where she covered the Milwaukee Bucks for the 2018–19 NBA season. George began her career as a reporter and sportscaster at WDRB-TV in Louisville, Kentucky. Previously, she interned at CBS Corporation as a productions intern from June 2014 to August 2014.
Before starting her journalism career, Katie worked in the pageant industry where she took part in various competitions. in 2015, she won the Miss Kentucky crowned, and afterward, she obtained an opportunity to compete at Miss USA 2015.
