Serrie serves as a senior correspondent at Fox News Channel based in Atlanta. During his time there, he covered numerous news including the extradition of Joran van der Sloot, the federal prosecution of former president Trump, and the 2022 Midterm Elections. In addition to this, he also covered major breaking news such as the effects of COVID-19 and the 2022 omicron variant surge. Moreover, Jonathan also reported the 2021 disappearance of Gabby Petito. He also traveled to Georgia where he covered the Democracy 2020 election.
Besides this, he has also covered several international and national stories including major political elections, the coronavirus pandemic, tornadoes, and hurricanes. He went to Sanford, FL where he reported the shooting of Trayvon Martin and the George Zimmerman murder. Jonathan has also reported the former Senator John Edwards, the 2012 campaign finance fraud trial, and Hurricane Isaac from New Orleans.
Before coming to FNC, Serrie served as a reporter at WSB-TV, the ABC 2 affiliate in Atlanta from 1994 to 1999. While there, he received two Emmy Awards for his excellent work. Previously, he spent five years working at WYFF-TV (NBC 4) in Greenville, South Carolina as a morning anchor. Serrie kickstarted his journalism career at WWSB-TV (ABC 7), in Sarasota, Florida where he served as a photographer and reporter.
