Ini Edo is a Nigerian actress who is famous for starring in films such as Faces of Beauty, Cold War, My Heart Your Home, Living in Tears, and Silence of the Gods. She is also the winner of the Miss Black Africa UK Pageant.

Edo graduated from Cornelia Connely College in Uyo, Nigeria. She then enrolled at Uyo University where she received a diploma in Theatre Arts. After that, she enrolled at Calabar University where she attained a bachelor’s degree in English. In 2014, she was offered a scholarship at the National Open University of Nigeria where she studied law.

Edo began her professional career in 2000 when she was featured in a movie called Thick Madam. After that, she auditioned in the De9jaSpirit Talent Hunt and the Miss Black Africa UK Pageant. Her breakthrough came in 2004 when she appeared in the movie World Apart where she earned the Best Lead Actress. In 2014, Ini was selected as a United Nations Habitat Youth Envoy by the United Nations.

Later on, she was cast in a crime thriller film produced by ShantyTown in 2023. Ini is also the owner of Secrets Of April, a cosmetic and fashion brand. She is also the founder and CEO of High Fashion Apparel, an accessories and beauty products brand. In addition, she is also an ambassador of the National Democratic Institute (NDI).
