Heart Evangelista born as Love Marie Payawal Ongpauco-Escudero is a Filipina actress, visual media artist, philanthropist, and socialite. She is currently working with GMA Network as an artist based in Paris, France. She is also known for being the wife of the governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero.

Evangelista began her acting career at the age of 13 years when she appeared in various TV shows and modeled for various companies. After that, she was cast alongside John Prats in TV shows such as Ang Tanging Ina, Trip, G-mik, Berks, and My First Romance. For her performance in the show, she won the Best New TV Actress award and the Best New Female Personality. In 2004, Heart played opposite Geoff Eigenmann in the TV drama Hiram which she earned the Star Award.

After that, Evangelista starred as Eden in a love drama Panday and later on, she was featured in the ABS-CBN series The Sineserye. Other than this, she has also appeared in films and series like Pangarap na Bituin, Hiram na Mukha, Luna Mystika, and Sine Novela: Ngayon at Kailanman.
