She began her role at CBS in November 2019 after leaving her role as Chief Intelligence correspondent for Fox News Channel. She had hosted the Saturday edition of Weekend Live.

Catherine joined the Fox News Channel at its inception in 1996, she originally was a London-based correspondent for ABC News. Herridge has also served as a field correspondent for the defunct Fox news magazine The Pulse. At Fox, she covered Hillary Clinton almost exclusively, including Clinton’s campaign for Senate in 2000, the 2004 Democratic presidential elections, the Washington, D.C.-area sniper attacks, the U.S.-sponsored resolution calling for the lifting of sanctions against Iraq, and the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui, the only person charged in the U.S. over the 9/11 attacks.
Prior to joining CBS News in October 2019, Herridge covered intelligence, the justice department, and the Department of Homeland Security. She joined FNC in 1996 as a London-based correspondent. She has covered many stories including the Afghanistan war, Iraq, and Guantanamo Bay. She is one of the few reporters to sit in the same military courtroom as the self-described architect of the 9/11 attack, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and his four alleged co-conspirators. Additionally, she covered Hillary Rodham Clinton’s senate campaign in 2000. Herridge was also a New York-based correspondent for the Fox Broadcasting Network to lead an investigation into Medicare fraud, prescription drug abuse, and child prostitution. Her works on Fox Files were recognized she won a Bronze World Medal from the New York Festivals, honoring excellence in communications media.
